Penn State Health is seeking Physical Therapists to join our outpatient services at our East Campus. This posting supports one opening in Outpatient Aquatic Therapy and one opening in Outpatient Orthopedics/Sports.

Summary of Position:

Penn State Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to drive our Outpatient Aquatic Therapy program at our East Campus located at 30 Hope Drive in Hershey, PA. You will have the opportunity to work in an academic medical setting alongside a team of seasoned therapists (Occupational, Physical, and Speech). You will work closely with Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and primary care providers, amongst others, in treating adults and pediatrics with both clinic and aquatic-based interventions. As a member of an academic medical center there is strong focus on education and training with opportunities to participate in rounds/educational events and to mentor students and medical residents.

You will have the opportunity to work in an academic medical setting alongside a team of seasoned therapists (Occupational, Physical, and Speech). You will work closely with Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and primary care providers, amongst others, in treating adults with a variety of orthopedic conditions. As a member of an academic medical center there is strong focus on education and training with opportunities to participate in rounds/educational events and to mentor students and medical residents. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Must be currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania, or hold an active Pennsylvania Temporary License, or be practicing under an active PT Compact privilege in accordance with state law. Employee is responsible for maintaining eligibility to practice, including timely completion of all requirements for full licensure, temporary licensure, or compact privilege status as applicable under Pennsylvania State Board and PT Compact Commission regulations. 
• AHA BLS certification prior to orientation completion
