Patient Service Specialist
Description PATIENT SERVICE SPECIALIST JOB SUMMARY : In your pivotal role as Patient Service Specialist, you will provide service to patients pre-appointment, during, and/or post appointment with occasional guidance. Your responsibilities will include the following: Manage a range of 50-130 faxed-in orders per day (as above) Review faxed orders and records Create MRN as needed Transcribe all orders Schedule all patients coming in from external providers Identify records to be uploaded to Epic and send to HIM for scanning Call and reschedule all cancelled or no-show patients--up to 30 per day
