Chief Audiologist
This position is located in the Audiology Service at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Ky. The incumbent will serve as the Chief of Audiology Service in a 1 B facility. The duties and responsibilities will be carried out throughout the Medical Center and surrounding Community Based Outpatient Centers (CBOCs), including all clinical and patient care areas involved with the service. The incumbent manages substantive parts of the Medical Center that deliver specialized, complex, professional services and significantly impact the care provided to Veterans. The incumbent has broad and overall responsibility for the Service, general supervision of clinical and/or training programs, overall technical oversight and administrative oversight for all operations within the service.
