Position Overview: As an Audiologist at our practice, you will have the opportunity to use your audiological skills and expertise to make a difference in the world. We are seeking an individual who not only excels in diagnosing and treating hearing-related conditions but also has a deep commitment to humanitarian work. In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, assessments, and fittings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, hearing aid use, tinnitus treatments and cochlear implant recommendations when applicable.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in humanitarian missions and outreach programs to bring hearing healthcare to underserved communities locally and abroad.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• State licensure in audiology for Florida.
• Strong clinical skills in audiological assessments, hearing aid evaluations, fitting, tinnitus treatments, and cochlear implant candidacy testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• A passion for humanitarian work and a willingness to travel for outreach programs.
• A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

We work with adult patients providing hearing testing, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus evaluations, tinnitus treatments, cochlear implant candidacy testing, and cochlear implant mapping. We follow best practices and strive to empower our patients with the best hearing solutions. Chippendale Audiology has a local non-profit project, Hearing the Call SWFL to serve income eligible residents meet their hearing healthcare needs.
