University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking an Otorhinolaryngology / ENT Physician to join our East Metro Community Otolaryngology practice.
We have a long history of clinical and research excellence, along with national leadership across multiple disciplines within otolaryngology and head and neck surgery that continues today. To provide the best care possible for our patients all under one roof, we work closely with providers from several different specialties, including audiology, neurology and neurotology. Our active research program allows us to offer patients the most recent clinical advances and has played a large role in making us a top choice for ear, nose and throat care.
Our practice is a full service general Otolaryngology community practice in the east suburbs of the Twin Cities. We see all ages, and our Otolaryngology clinics are equipped with rigid and flexible endoscopic capabilities, in addition to binocular ear microscopes. We perform all standard procedures in our clinics such as skin lesion removal, biopsies, and myringotomies.
Practice Details:
Locations of practice: Maplewood, MN.
Join a well-established and busy team of 5 Community ENT physician's in the system.
General Otolaryngology with an opportunity to focus in areas of interest.
Full scope of adult and pediatric outpatient consults and surgical care.
Exceptionally strong primary and specialty care referral base within the care system.
1-2 non-urgent inpatient consults per week.
3-4 urgent after hours/weekend surgical cases per year.
Fully Integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
Call Frequency: 1 in 4 average, covering 3 community hospitals, no trauma call (pager call only).
Openings: 1.0 FTE (Full Time) composted of 2/3 time in clinic, 1/3 in surgery.
Income Details:
2-year market competitive salary guarantee with ability to exceed on production compensation program.

Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
Board eligible/certified with the ABOTO-HNS.
Licensed or ability to acquire Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to acquire/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
