Responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice and other cognitive related disorders requiring intervention by a Speech-Language Pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health to well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * Two years of work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting preferred* Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred* Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence* Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association* Current Speech Language Pathologist Certification with the State of Colorado* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart AssociationPhysical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) This part time role is primarily acute position. This role will be trained to float to the inpatient rehab setting to help cover scheduling needs. The schedule is open to discussion. It will cover 3 days a week one week and 2 days another week. There is a 2 weekend days per month requirement. The holiday requirement is1 winter, and 1 summer holiday coverage. We are willing to train new grads in this role.
