Audiologist Clinical Specialist Cochlear Implants
The Primary Purpose of the Position has special clinical program responsibilities associated with the VA North Texas cochlear implant (CI) program.Responsibility for the Implant Program includes overseeing all administrative functions associated with the CI program, and involves initial and ongoing program development, implementation, and tracking. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: possess a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from an audiology program recognized by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
