VISN 22 is seeking to recruit Health Technician (Hearing Instrument Specialist) (HIS) for each of it medical facilities. As members of the Audiology service and hearing health care team, the Health Technician (HIS) will be tasked with assisting patients with concerns related to their hearing aids and/or hearing assistive technology, consistent with the treatment plan of the Audiologist. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
