Tucker Maxon School is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf or Speech and Language Pathologist to lead our Early Intervention and outreach program.  This position entails working closely with families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing ages 0-3 and coaching them on listening and spoken language strategies to use with their child.  It also involves outreach to professionals in the field to help grow the early intervention program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MA in Education of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or MS Speech Language Pathology
• Oregon State Teaching License or Current Oregon State License in Speech Language Pathology
• Certification or ability to obtain Listening and Spoken Language (LSLS Cert AVEd/ AVT) preferred
• Pass background check and obtain a Criminal Registry Number
• Experience in Early Intervention
• Ability to work effectively with a team and families
• Ability to obtain credentials with insurance companies
• Proof of vaccination
