We are seeking a motivated health care professional to fill a full-time Clinical Speech-Language Pathology position. This position will provide diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of voice, swallowing disorders and cognitive impairments to an outpatient population. The position will work in an inter-professional setting at 25 S 9th Street as well as in a busy Head and Neck, Voice & Swallow Clinic located at 925 Chestnut Street.
This is an exciting opportunity to work clinically on a multidisciplinary collaborative team that includes multi-specialty physicians, physical and occupational therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists.
This is a wonderful full-time clinical position that provides a good balance of support and autonomy.
Graduate of accredited allied health professional education program.
Licensed by the State as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
CPR Certification required.
Experience in diagnostic techniques including video fluoroscopy and flexible endoscopy (FEES) and certification in the use of NMES to treat dysphagia is preferred.
Experience with management of individuals with head and neck cancer, including total laryngectomy, and neurogenic populations is also desired. The successful applicant must possess or be eligible for Pennsylvania State licensure and be ASHA certified (CCC-SLP).
A minimum of 2 years’ experience is desired with a strong background in working with individuals with swallowing disorders.
