All Ears! Center’s family-focused Listening & Spoken Language (LSL) Team believes that children who are deaf and hard of hearing can learn to listen, speak, and read as they develop alongside typical hearing peers. We serve families across Texas and the greater Houston area in audiology and LSL speech therapy services. We are passionate about guiding and coaching caregivers to help their children reach optimal spoken language outcomes, heightened literacy, and lifelong independence. Our organization is rapidly growing and greatly committed to a mission of reducing our area’s infant loss-to-follow-up rate of over 50% after failed hearing screens.   

All Ears is seeking an SLP to join our growing LSL Center of excellence who is passionate about working with children who have hearing loss and their families. 

The SLP will be responsible for:

• Managing a therapy caseload of patients with hearing loss, delivering skilled interventions, and providing caregiver coaching, education, and compassionate counseling in sessions.
• Providing high quality evaluations and timely completion of reports and documentation.
• Collaborating with audiology services and Texas Children's Hospital Pediatric Cochlear Implant Clinic professionals.
• Commitment to LSLS mentorship and certification, if not yet certified. In-clinic mentorship provided.

Education & Experience: 

• Master’s Degree
• ASHA SLP CCC’s preferred – will consider CFY
• Texas SLP licensure
• LSLS certification through AG Bell or commitment to mentorship
• Pediatric therapy experience
• Spanish fluency is a strong bonus

Our mission is to foster lifelong learning, literacy, and independence in children who are deaf and hard of hearing through a comprehensive and family-focused listening and Spoken Language (LSL) program, regardless of a family’s financial resources. In 2022, All Ears! opened a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic specializing in audiology and Listening and Spoken Language (auditory-verbal) intervention. Through research-based comprehensive audiology services, patients of all ages experience the highest level of care. Our LSL Intervention (Auditory-Verbal Therapy) and pediatric audiology are critical to a child’s goal of optimal spoken language outcome and mainstream education. Audiologists and Therapists collaboration is integral and unique to each child’s progress. Our audiologists and Listening and Spoken Language Specialists have over fifty years of combined experience and are excited to serve the north Houston and Montgomery County areas in a collaborative approach with the All Ears! team to ensure all patients have the opportunity to hear and be heard.
